MOBILITAT A AUSTRIA, 24 AL 28 DE JUNY, 2024

June 23rd was the first day of our Erasmus adventure.

It has been very excited, we took the plane around 11a.m in the morning and we got our destination at 14p.m.

After picking up our luggage and finding the right trains, we finally arrived in Baden, the city of our Austrian friends.

The families welcomed us warmly and took us to their homes so we could settle in.

Each family organized a different plan in the afternoon: some went to Vienna, others visited nearby cities, and some even learned to play mini-golf!

It has been a day full of nerves and emotions, but in the end, we all had a great time!!!

 June 24th,

We started the day at Baden’s high school, HLA School, with german and spanish classes.

Then, we did a tour through all the high school which has five different buildings. After that, we started the Baden’s visit with Kur Park where we had seen the casino and we finished it at the rosarium where we had lunch. The rosarium is one of the most beautiful places for visiting in Baden because you can look at incredible type of roses and flowers. Also, we had seen the photo exposition through all the town. Later, we had free time for being with our partners and visit other Baden’s places, like the Thermalstrabbad Baden.

June 25th,

The day started at the train station at 9 o’clock. We visited Vienna but first we got on three different trains to arrive and it lasted 30-45 minutes in total, no far away! After that, we visited Schönbrunn, a famous palace which was the summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. Its style was so baroque and shinny! Then, we enjoyed the zoo and we saw many animals like elephants, lions, monkeys, and so on. Our favorite animal was the panda bear, cute!

In the evening, we watched the Austria vs Netherlands match on TV with snacks and they won!!!Hurray! At 8 p.m., we had dinner, enjoying Chinese food! It has been a nice day!

June 26th,

Second day at the Austrian capital city started at 9a.m. We arrived at the Arts Museum of Vienna (Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien) at 10 a.m. and it was very beautiful!

After that we went to visit the holidays residence of the Kaisers and we saw a militar parade because the Indian ambassador was there. It was exciting! Then we visited the center of Vienna and took a look around the shops and streets, we had a bit of free time to buy souvenirs and we met again with the group at 2 p.m. to visit the St. Stephen's Cathedral. Amazing! It has been a long but fantastic day! At 6 p.m. we all met together to have dinner at a heuriger, a very typical restaurant in Baden.

To finish the day we arrived at our host families houses and we went to bed!

Thursday 27th,

In the morning, we said goodbye to our host families at the train station and went straight to Vienna.

We got on the train and almost got lost making transfers, how funny!

We arrived at the hotel to leave our suitcases and visited the inside of the Vienna Natural History Museum, incredible animals and insects!

Then, we ate something quickly as Austrian people normally do, and at 2:00 p.m. we entered the opera with a guide. We saw how beautiful it was and all the  history of it, do you know that 1600 audience fit in?

And to end the day we bought gifts for the family and we went to have dinner all the Spanish group together!
