MOBILITAT A BAD HARZBURG (ALEMANYA)
We’re starting the month of October with the first Erasmus mobility of the 2025/2026 school year. This mobility is part of the Erasmus+ Accreditation (2025-1-ES01-KA121-SCH-000310175) and, in this case, it took place in the German city of Bad Harzburg.
On Sunday, we got up at 2:30 in the morning to be at the airport by 4:00 and catch the plane at 6:00. We arrived at 8:35 in the morning, and then at 11:00 we took the train to Hanover. After that, we took another train to the village and arrived in Bad Harzburg at 3:15 p.m. Later, we went with the host families to visit the town a little.
On Monday, we did a presentation game, grouping ourselves in different ways. Our exchange students showed us all the classrooms of the school in groups of mixed nationalities, so we could use the English to talk together and know the other people and weren't all the time with the people from the same country. After this, we made a compass with paper to use later. We went up a hill in a cable car to visit the ruins of a castle and did a treasure hunt.
On Tuesday, we got up a little later, had breakfast, and went to school. There, we all got together and went to the train station to visit Goslar. In Goslar, we were divided into teams and went on a tour of the town, visited an old castle, and then went with our partners to see other things in Goslar and go to the shopping centre.
Finally, we went home, had dinner, and went to bed.
On Wednesday we went to the Bad Harzburg station to go to Hanover. Once there, the teachers gave us us some free time, then we walked to the Scape Room. A member of the staff explained the rules to us and then we did the Scape Room. When we finished it, we took a walk around Hanover to see the city. Then the teachers gave us free time, and finally we returned home.
On Thursday we made 2 groups and we played some typical German games, we made some puzzles and we had a workshop to do an orientation hat. Then, an expert explained us how to play an orientation game to search for oranges and white prisms. Finally, the German people organized a BBQ with sausages, potatoes and corn. Later, we said good bye to the Finish and Italian people and to some German people. A very nice and sad day at the same time.
On the Erasmus trip to Germany, we met people from Italy, Finland, and Germany. The Germans were very organized, the Italians fun, and the Finns more quiet but nice. We had a barbecue with typical German food, orientation workshops, and excursions.
It was a great experience to learn about new cultures and make friends !
